Masaki has over 15 years of experience in the consulting industry. He has worked at companies such as HIS, Rakuten, and Kikkoman, where he supported clients through digital transformation—especially at Rakuten, helping them shift from offline to online.
Believing in the innovation the internet brings, he helps organizations unlock the value of their data. After building his career in Japan, Masaki moved to Canada in 2024 to expand his global work. In his free time, he enjoys working out, running, and traveling.

2. How has your career experience shaped your consulting approach?
With over 15 years in consulting—including 12 years in IT and digital—I’ve worked with companies like HIS, Rakuten, and Kikkoman. At Rakuten, I supported clients during a critical shift from offline to online, helping them drive real digital transformation. In addition, I earned my MBA from Hult International Business School, which strengthened my ability to approach business holistically. Today, I consistently operate with a CEO-level mindset, aligning digital strategies with overall business goals.
3. What are you currently working on?
I’m now leading business development efforts to support Ayudante’s North American expansion, based out of Toronto. My focus is on identifying new partners and clients, exploring market opportunities, and building strategic relationships. I truly believe that when our data-driven solutions meet the strengths of forward-thinking companies, we can create something much bigger together.
4. What is Ayudante like as a company?
Ayudante is a highly specialized digital marketing consultancy, focused on Google Analytics, advertising operations, SEO, and Google Cloud. Unlike large digital agencies that spread across many fields, Ayudante goes deep with true experts in each area. Every client engagement is supported by dedicated specialists, and being in this environment constantly inspires me to grow and improve.
